I love these videos they are so sweet and always make me cry! It’s such a joy to see our troops return home to their families. It’s especially amazing when the families share these amazing surprise reunions with their children. God bless every single one of our men and women in uniform and their families!

My Favorite Funny Shows

20140220-191703.jpg

I’ve been really exhausted these past few weeks after work. By the time I get home, all I want to do is relax and do something that requires little to no thought.
I’ve really enjoyed watching two programs in particular on TV and I wanted to share them.

Ridiculousness:
This show is hosted by Rob Dyrdek with cohost Sterling “Steelo” Brim and Chanel West Coast. They normally have a celebrity guest of some sort and when they do they gear the shows theme around that guest. The show takes random funny videos from the internet and airs them with extremely interesting and humorous commentary. I normally find myself genuinely laughing out loud at the TV whenever I watch this show.

Impractical Jokers:
I cannot say enough positive praise about this show. Impractical Jokers airs on Tru TV and The stars of this show call themselves The Tenderloins. This group consist of Brian Quinn, Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto and James Murray, four long time friends that go out if their way to embarrass each other in every way you could imagine and any way you would never think possible. They have managed to turn friendship pranks and competitions into a career (my hero’s!). This show is gut splitting, can’t breathe hilarious! I guarantee you will love it!!

Life Unplanned

20140213-210615.jpg

It’s always interesting, those moments when you step back and take stock of your life. Remembering when you were a kid and the way you imagined your grown up self would be.
How many people actually grow up to become everything they imagined they’d become as a child.
I remember telling everyone that would listen, I’m going to be a lawyer! I wonder what my younger self would think of me today.
I eventually gave up my dreams of going to law school when I found out I was pregnant at 16. That pregnancy was one of the defining moments in my life, as with most teenagers that become pregnant. I made a choice then to not become just another teenage statistic living on welfare for the rest of my life.
I have since graduated from Cosmetology School where I became licensed in Hair Design. I also completed my Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. I am married with three beautiful children (all by the same father); I’ve been with my husband for nineteen years.
There are so many people that told me how sorry they were for me when they found out I was pregnant eighteen years ago.
If I could see them today I would tell them not to worry I’m going to be just fine.
If I could travel back in time and talk to my younger self. I’d tell her that our life is going to turn out just the way it was always meant to be.

Get To Know Me & My Blog

It amazed me last night how quickly I’ve become obsessed with blogging. I started this blog because I really enjoyed writing in my High school days; I wanted a creative outlet of sorts. When my Facebook post got a wee-bit long, a friend suggested I start a blog.
I called this blog Crazy Rants because that’s exactly what you’ll find here. There will most likely be no coherent or consistent theme to what I blog about. I am the kinda girl that will talk about the last football game and two minutes later the newest eye palette from Urban Decay.
I have many interest, including but not limited to a desire to attempt to begin writing. Because of this, you may run across an eventual short story or even some scattered poetry here and there.
If you’ve stopped by to read any of my post, thank you. These post are my thoughts, and in essence a part of me. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read through my Crazy Rantz, I hope they can provide you some form of insight, a moment of easy reading, or even at times a small bit of entertainment.

Michael Dunn Trial

20140212-042108.jpg

So Michael Dunn is on trial for murder. He shot 9 rounds into an SUV of unarmed teenagers, one died (17 year old African American – Jordan Davis). This is all over a loud music dispute in which Michael Dunn claims at some point these teenagers rolled their window down and he saw the barrel of a gun and he thought he was going to die (the police found no gun in the SUV).

Now it seems there are some letters that Dunn wrote while in prison that have racial tones.

This is an interesting case to follow…
Very similar to the Trayvon Martin case where Dunn is claiming self defense.

Burning

20140212-031820.jpg

Living with this pain can sometimes be a bit overwhelming
It’s hard to see it from the outside looking in
I look so normal, you’d never know each movement was a struggle
I joke to hide the reality but it doesn’t change the fight within
This Burning is internal so deep it comes from the core
With each day that passes the pain is felt even more
I try to shrug of the doubting glances they can’t even begin to know half of what I feel
Only I know the truth that this is all to real
